Day 2 (10 Aug 2026): South Coast Wonders - Glaciers, Waterfalls and Black Sand Beaches

After breakfast, check out from your hotel. Your driver/guide will meet you at the lobby of the hotel. Leave on a breathtaking journey along Iceland’s stunning south coast, where dramatic landscapes and natural wonders await at every turn.

Your first stop will be the Sólheimajökull Glacier, a rugged, otherworldly tongue of ice stretching down from the mighty Mýrdalsjökull ice cap. With its blue ice, deep crevasses, and volcanic ash streaks, this glacier offers a glimpse into the raw power of Icelandic nature.

Next, you will stop at Seljalandsfoss, one of Iceland’s most photogenic waterfalls. A unique footpath lets you walk behind the cascading water—a rare and magical experience. Just a short drive away from there is Skógafoss, a thundering 60-meter curtain of water that’s equally majestic and often crowned with rainbows on sunny days.

Continue toward the coast to Reynisfjara, the world-famous black sand beach, where roaring Atlantic waves crash against basalt sea stacks and dramatic cliffs. The beach’s eerie beauty and rare combination of back sand and blue water make it one of Iceland’s most iconic spots.

End your day with a visit to Dyrhólaey Lighthouse, perched high above the coastline. From this scenic vantage point, enjoy panoramic views over the black beaches, crashing waves, and sea arches. Continue to your hotel and check in on arrival.

Day 3 (11 Aug 2026): Golden Circle and Borganes Adventure - Nature, Power and Flavor

After breakfast, check out of your hotel. Today, you will experience Iceland’s most iconic route, the Golden Circle. It is the perfect blend of geological wonders, natural beauty, and local flavor.

Begin your day at Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where history and geology collide. Walk between two tectonic plates in the rift valley where the North American and Eurasian plates are slowly drifting apart. This is also the site of the world’s first parliament, established over a thousand years ago.

Next, continue to the Geysir geothermal area, home to steaming vents, bubbling mud pots, and the lively Strokkur geyser, which erupts every few minutes—shooting hot water high into the sky in a thrilling display of nature’s power.

Just a short drive away, witness the breathtaking Gullfoss Waterfall, known as the “Golden Falls.” Watch as glacial water thunders into a deep canyon, often casting shimmering rainbows into the mist on sunny days.

Later, continue to Friðheimar Tomato Farm, where you will witness fragrant tomato vines growing in the greenhouse. Try out some of the fresh dishes made from the farm’s own produce (not included).

Round off your day with a visit to Kerið Crater, a striking volcanic caldera filled with vivid blue water. Its red volcanic rock contrasts beautifully with the greenery and turquoise lake below, making it a photographer’s dream.

Continue to your hotel and check in on arrival.

Day 4 (12 Aug 2026): Snæfellsnes and the Solar Eclipse

After breakfast, leave on a full day tour, to discover the mystical beauty of Iceland’s Snæfellsnes Peninsula, often called “Iceland in Miniature” for its diverse landscapes, and witness the extraordinary spectacle of a solar eclipse from one of the most breathtaking corners of the Earth.

Begin your journey at the iconic Kirkjufell Mountain and Kirkjufellsfoss Waterfall, a scene so picture-perfect it’s graced postcards and screensavers around the world. The pointed mountain and cascading falls create a dramatic backdrop.

Continue to Ytri-Tunga Beach, known for its golden sands and playful seal colony. Here, you’ll have a chance to spot these curious creatures lounging on the rocks or popping their heads up from the sea. As anticipation builds, head to a prime viewing location for the solar eclipse. With the Snæfellsjökull glacier in the distance and the North Atlantic stretching out before you, experience the rare beauty of day turning to twilight.

As the moon cloaks the sun, you willsee the sky transformed; an unforgettable moment in one of the world’s most dramatic settings.

After the eclipse, explore the charming Arnarstapi fishing village, with its rugged coastline, lava formations, and bird-filled cliffs. A walk along the seaside path offers stunning views and a touch of Icelandic folklore.

End the day at the wild and windswept Djúpalónssandur Beach, a black pebble shoreline littered with the rusted remains of a shipwreck.

In the evening, return to Reykjavik and check into your hotel.
