Itinerary

Day 01 (10 Aug 2026): Arrive in Keflavik Airport


On arrival at Keflavik airport, after collecting your luggage, please make your way to the exit where your driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Keflavík Airport, crossing the otherworldly lava landscapes of the Reykjanes Peninsula, before arriving at your hotel in Reykjavík.


Check into your hotel on arrival.


Once you’ve settled in, take the opportunity to explore the vibrant heart of Reykjavik. Wander through the charming streets lined with colorful houses, visit iconic landmarks like Hallgrímskirkja Church and Harpa Concert Hall, or relax in a cozy café with a taste of Icelandic cuisine.

Day 2 (11 Aug 2026): Golden Circle Adventure

Meet up with your private driver-guide at your hotel. Your day starts with a drive to Þingvellir, a remarkable geological site and the most historic site on the island.The world's oldest democratic parliament was founded here in 930. Located by Lake Þingvallavatn, the largest lake on the island; Þingvellir is now a national park and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004. The beautiful canyon running through the park is actually the meeting point of two of the earth’s tectonic plates. The area’s combination of natural phenomena and historical significance make it inseparable from the fabric of Icelandic national life.


Your tour continues on to the infamous Geysir area, where you will discover the famous Geysir which has given its name to hot springs all over the world. You will see one of the most active geysers in the area, Strokkur, spouting up to 30 meters (98 feet) into the air, every 5 to 7 minutes!


Only a few minutes’ drive away is Gullfoss (Golden Waterfall), one of the most impressive waterfalls in Europe. Here you will see thousands of tons of water thunder majestically down into a deep gorge. A series of paths takes you to amazing views of the falls. Drive back to your hotel later in the afternoon.

DAY 3 (12 Aug 2026): Snæfellsnes and the Solar Eclipse

After breakfast, meet your private driver-guide at your hotel. Drive from Reykjavík via Borgarfjörður to Snæfellsnes peninsula and Snæfellsjökull National Park. Visit the romantic little fishing villages of Arnarstapi and Hellnar, both famous for their rock formations in the shapes of arches, caves, sea stacks, View cliffs alive with huge colonies of birds.


Above all this stands the word-famous glacier-capped Snæfellsjökull volcano. Continue your journey around Snæfellsnesjökull glacier, through the small fishing villages on the northern shores of the peninsula. You'll also get a glimpse of Kirkjufell, Iecland's most photographed mountain. Experience the total eclipse in the late afternoon.


Return to your hotel in the evening.

DAY 4 (13 Aug 2026): South Coast Wonders


Breakfast at your hotel. Meet your private driver-guide at your hotel and head on to the South coast. Drive along the black sand coastline and on to Dyrhólaey* nature reserve, a magnificent cliff projecting into the ocean.


Visit Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, two of the most photographed waterfalls along the coast. Near Skógafoss, you have the opportunity to visit the Skógar Museum (not included in price). There, you can see how rural Icelanders have lived in the past centuries. If the weather is clear today, you might also glimpse Eyjafjallajökull, the famous glacier-volcano that erupted in 2010, along with beautiful Mt. Hekla volcano.


Head back to your hotel in the late afternoon

Day 5 (14 Aug 2026): Depart Reykjavik

Your driver will pick you up from your hotel about 3.5 hours before your flight and transfer you to the airport.
